A Prayer For The New Year

God, grant me the serenityto accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can,and the wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time;accepting hardship as a pathway to peace;taking, as Your Divine Incarnations did, this world as it is,not as I would have it;trustingContinue reading "A Prayer For The New Year"

How To Live Slowly and Simply In A Frantic World

This post is about how you can choose to slow down, how you can step off the ever-revolving carousel of want-buy-want upgrade, opt out of the comparison games, stop cramming a month’s worth of engagements into a weekend, refuse to live your life according to trends, tread lighter on the earth and create a homeContinue reading "How To Live Slowly and Simply In A Frantic World"

How To Develop Extreme Resilience

1. There is no destination. Only the journey. Have you ever said something like, “If I had a higher salary, then I would be happy”or “I’ll be satisfied when I get this promotion”? Many people don’t find out in time that “when” never comes. Stress appears in our life when we let our expectations orContinue reading "How To Develop Extreme Resilience"

The Meaning Of “Om”

With the help of “Om” one can realize the Divine. “Om” has a transformative power. “Om” represents the Divine. There was a Frenchman who came back fromContinue reading "The Meaning Of “Om”"

Big weight loss is mostly about the food. Exercise is important to a lesser extent. Do not eat sugar, especially fructose. Aim for less than 3 added teaspoons per day, which is equal to 12 grams ( 1 teaspoon = 4 grams). Remember there are many names for sugar, so watch out when you shop.Continue reading "The Little Book Of Big Weight Loss : Book Notes"

[instagram] there will still be 125 pieces of my love lingering somewhere on the internet

i used to be one of those people who would say, marriage is just a piece of paper. but after being with her for years and years through all the tears and laughter it is starting to make me sad that if anything were to happen to me she wouldn’t be able to do things like make medical decisions on my behalf, collect my body when am gone, etc. I had to go to a lawyer to do specific paperwork that were not necessary if we were simply married. will i be able to call her my wife in my lifetime? it is just so saddening that the closest person to me will never be recognised as such in the eyes of the law. when i die, she will just be my “friend”. nevertheless am grateful to spend these 125 months together, perhaps even if she won’t be able to claim my body and if history will deem us as just“friends”, there will still be 125 pieces of my love lingering somewhere on the internet. (she made us clothes again! it is 98% zero waste!)
