Vladimir Guerrero Jr. had a playoff performance for the ages. His eight home runs were the most by a Toronto Blue Jays batter in a single postseason. The 29 hits he registered ranked second all-time in MLB postseason history. He also became the first player to hit a grand slam in Blue Jays’ postseason history during the ALDS. Even though the Blue Jays suffered heartbreak at the hands of the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 7 of the World Series, Guerrero Jr. cemented his playoff legacy with an epic performance. It certainly didn’t go unnoticed in his hometown of Don Gregorio, Dominican Republic. Fans from his hometown poured into the streets to celebrate Guerrero Jr. with a massive parade on Friday. > Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s hometown of Don Gregorio, Dominican Republic threw a parade for him > > (via @hgomez27) pic.twitter.com/ppGxonDbV6 > > — Jomboy Media (@JomboyMedia) November 7, 2025 The 26-year-old star was seen hanging out of the top of a black Cadillac Escalade with giant speakers behind him. His wife, Nathalie Guerrero, was also seen celebrating with the crowd at the parade. Although Guerrero Jr. was born in Montreal, back when his father played for the Montreal Expos, he was raised in the Dominican Republic by his mother, Riquelma Ramos. There was also a clip that showed a giant mural of Guerrero Jr. in his hometown. >   > > > > > View this post on Instagram > > > > >   > > A post shared by Nizaovidaaccion (@nizaovidaaccion_) The celebration for Guerrero Jr. finishes off an emotional last two months for the All-Star first baseman. [instagram] there will still be 125 pieces of my love lingering somewhere on the internet

i used to be one of those people who would say, marriage is just a piece of paper. but after being with her for years and years through all the tears and laughter it is starting to make me sad that if anything were to happen to me she wouldn’t be able to do things like make medical decisions on my behalf, collect my body when am gone, etc. I had to go to a lawyer to do specific paperwork that were not necessary if we were simply married. will i be able to call her my wife in my lifetime? it is just so saddening that the closest person to me will never be recognised as such in the eyes of the law. when i die, she will just be my “friend”. nevertheless am grateful to spend these 125 months together, perhaps even if she won’t be able to claim my body and if history will deem us as just“friends”, there will still be 125 pieces of my love lingering somewhere on the internet. (she made us clothes again! it is 98% zero waste!)
