Summary of changes for October 2026

Hey everyone! This is the list of all the changes we've done to our projects during the month of October. Wiki, added taxes, and updated . Donsol, fixed some bugs. Note that we plan to release a Playdate build on itch.io next month. Rabbit Waves, finished a new comic page, added a section on monochrome signal flags(scroll to bottom) and updated the zine to include them. Over the summer, we looked around Pino and tried to make a list of all that had changed since we sailed back from Japan and thought it might be nice to make a new video to show you what those changes were. Our last vlog-type video was released in 2020, we are considering maybe getting back into the habit of making montly videos. We also released two other videos from past talks, one is about Analog Communication & Solresol and the other is an Orca Livecoding Demo. We both participated in Drawtober this year, finishing 31 daily drawings. See Devine's drawings which are illustrations for the Neauismetica, and see Rek's series of 31 5x5 cm tile-like drawings. We carved a halloween pumpkin inspired by the ghost enemy(lower left character) Rek designed for Donsol. As another Halloween treat, members of Merveilles Town worked together to make an album of spooky tracks. In the little world of Uxn, Taylor gave us a XTE INK reader, for which Devine wrote a firmware in Uxn. The source is here. Not having a smartphone or a printer, it has been quite convenient for us to bring QR code tickets to venues. Like last year, Oquonie is part of Playdate Catalog Fall Sale running from November 5th to the 19th. Thank you for continuing to spend time in the little worlds we create! Book Club: We are reading Le Ton beau de Marot by Douglas Hofstadter.
