Apple made AirTag randomly chirp when bumped or moved when out of bluetooth range of your iPhone. That's great, but if your bike is stolen - the very last thing you would want is for the thief to hear the AirTag and throw it away. That's why we designed The AirTag Silencer - a patented precision tool that helps you disable AirTag's speaker in seconds - all you need is a hammer. Easy to Use - Remove AirTag's battery & set on the baseplate, place silencer, and hit piercer flush with a hammer. Disconnects the coil that powers AirTag's speaker. Works on multiple AirTags. Invaluable for expensive bikes, camera bags, purses, electronics, backpacks, etc... Anything you wouldn't want a thief tipped off by AirTag's chirp. And its great for pets too - no chirping on their collar in the middle of the night. Also available on Amazon.
There are few things worse than a dead AirTag when you need it. That's why we designed the The 5-Year Compact Battery for AirTag. It replaces the CR2032 coin cell for two uses AAA batteries for 5.5x more capacity. And does so in a small, lightweight form factor. Discrete, minimal design doesn't broadcast that it holds an AirTag. Easy assembly. It has an ultra-strong composite enclosure. IP68 waterproof. Great for long-term storage like an boat or trailer. And a must have for anything of high-value. It is the lowest cost one-time insurance you can have. Also available on Amazon.
Our original TagVault Fabric Mount is one of our most popular AirTag cases. So we wanted another design that was just as useful but even more rugged and fully waterproof. So we designed TagVault Fabric Extreme for AirTag. It's ultra-flexible to move with your fabric. Ultra-secure to withstand hits from items shoved in a bag. And discreet so a thief won't know its there. And features a hidden patented waterproof gasket with an easy screw top design that you can crank down for tight seal. It protects AirTag from spills in a bag & you can mount it on a ski jacket, surfboard bag, soft cooler, umbrella, tent & more. Installs in seconds to any synthetic fabirc (nylon, poly, vinyl, rubberized fabrics and GORE-TEX). Easy screw top design. Perfect for sporting goods bags. And its still great for luggage, purses, jackets and camera bags. Also available on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3KOcL0V
We wanted a strap mount that was secure, rugged, ultra-compact, and super easier to assemble. So we designed TagVault Strap Compact. Fully waterproof with a hidden inner gasket. It's ultra low-profile. Perfect for backpacks. Also really great for cameras. Also available on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3QP7INn
We wanted to make a better braided steel AirTag mount - more compact, stronger, really well made. So we fired up our Swiss lathe and machined a custom oversized screw that keeps it secure and looks awesome. It is T10 Torx and comes with an included driver. There is an inner patent-pending gasket that keeps AirTag water tight. The braided steel loop is strong and has the perfect amount of flex. And the body is also more compact than any other braided steel AirTag mount, manufactured with an extremely strong and tough glass filled polycarbonate composite. The Sting belongs in the pantheon of films I'm deeply embarrassed to have not watched earlier. Not just because it's a great film — and it is — but because it is so incredibly my shit that I feel retroactively spurned for not having watched it sooner.
If everything worked as well as the product called Evapo-Rust, the world would be a much better place. That’s just one of the many lessons learned during my recent — successful! — project to transform my old, nonfunctioning gasoline-powered generator into something much better.
When I created OpenDithering back in June, the feature I was proudest of was the Auto-tune button. It did the slider work for me: it compared the dithered result to the original image, nudged the settings, and repeated until the image stopped improving. Over the summer it grew into a three-step process (Auto Expose, Color-tune, […] The post I deleted my favorite feature, and the image got better: Direct Binary Search (DBS) in OpenDithering appeared first on Style over Substance.
Welcome back to yet another episode of "security was taken seriously". Being who we are (and constantly being exposed to what we see…), we recognize we have been doomed to eternal damnation as we keep on watching security best practices crumble behind “secure by design”
